This is just a bunch of arithmetic in base-13. Each card corresponds to a base 13 number like so:
2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | 10 | J | Q | K | A |
11 | 12 | 7 | 5 | 3 | 0 | 4 | 9 | 2 | 1 | 10 | 8 | 6 |
When applied to the cards in the column on the right, you get the following numbers/message:

which is the answer.
