It might help to have definitions here to clarify which meaning is desired ...
Also, for many of these, there is a context and a critical moment. Perhaps we should consider using an arrow or something to denote the desire concept? I.e. for "keep," there is an offerered gift and a continued posession; we want to emphasize the latter over the first.
